Good day to all. Today you are responsible for finishing up our tool box plans. The plans are to be submitted to me via email by the end of the period. anything after that they will be considered late and docked 30% on the final grade.
This project is an exercise on critical thinking and communication. We have built several small wood projects like this one thus far. You have seen several examples of how I write up plans and have copies of all of them. And they are all posted on the Mechanics start page as well. I need you to show me your growth with this project.
You are to draw a side view and an end view of the tool box in you plans. Use the SketchUp file as a reference on how to do this. You must put in all necessary dimensions as well. I am looking for quality work that is neat and clear.
Your directions are to be simple yet thorough. Write them as if they will be read by a person who has no idea how to put wood projects together. Be sure to use all of the tools and materials listened that we came up with on Wednesday. You might also add in the oscillating spindle sander and a palm sander to finish off the project to make it look great. The more detail the better.
